Workplaces
Workplaces let you organize the different areas or positions within your locations. They are useful for shift planning and time tracking.
What is a workplace?
- Kitchen
- Bar
- Dining Room
- Terrace
- Office
- Warehouse
Creating a workplace
- Go to Labor > Settings > Workplaces
- Click "Add workplace"
- Fill in the fields:
Name
Color
Assigned location
- Click "Save"
Using workplaces
Workplaces are used in:
- Schedule grid: to assign employees to specific zones
- Time control: to record which workplace an employee clocked in at
- Reports: to analyze hours by workplace
- Filters: to filter employees and shifts by zone
Edit or delete
- Edit: change the name, color, or assigned location
- Delete: only possible if no shifts or clockings are linked to the workplace
