Workplaces

Workplaces let you organize the different areas or positions within your locations. They are useful for shift planning and time tracking.

What is a workplace?

  • Kitchen
  • Bar
  • Dining Room
  • Terrace
  • Office
  • Warehouse

Creating a workplace

  1. Go to Labor > Settings > Workplaces
  2. Click "Add workplace"
  3. Fill in the fields:

Name

Color

Assigned location

  1. Click "Save"

Using workplaces

Workplaces are used in:

  • Schedule grid: to assign employees to specific zones
  • Time control: to record which workplace an employee clocked in at
  • Reports: to analyze hours by workplace
  • Filters: to filter employees and shifts by zone

Edit or delete

  • Edit: change the name, color, or assigned location
  • Delete: only possible if no shifts or clockings are linked to the workplace
