Groups and Labor Categories
Groups and categories organize employees by department and role. Configure them at /laboral/configuraciones/categorias.
Groups
Groups represent work areas: Kitchen, Dining, Bar, Reception, Admin, etc. Each group has a color used in schedule views.
Categories
Categories are roles within groups (e.g., Chef, Cook, Kitchen Assistant within Kitchen).
Usage
- Color-coded schedule views by department
- Filtering employees and schedules
- Analytics and reports by department
- Professional category assignment in contracts
