General Reservation Settings

Configure the core parameters of your reservation system from Reservations > Configuration > General.

Key Settings

• Default duration: Standard time allocated per reservation (e.g., 90 minutes).
• Min/Max guests: Set the minimum and maximum number of guests allowed per booking.
• Time intervals: How often new time slots are offered (e.g., every 15 or 30 minutes).
• Auto-confirmation: Toggle whether reservations are confirmed instantly or require manual approval.
• Overbooking: Allow a percentage above capacity to compensate for no-shows.
• Minimum advance time: How far in advance a reservation must be made.
• Maximum advance days: How far ahead customers can book.

Tips

• Review settings regularly as your business evolves.
• Disable auto-confirmation if you experience many no-shows.
• Adjust time intervals based on your kitchen and service capacity.
