No-Show Charge

Charge clients who don't show up for their reservation without cancelling.

Configure Policy

  1. Go to Settings > Reservations > Cancellation & No-Show Policy
  2. Enable no-show charges
  3. Set charge amount: fixed per person, percentage of deposit, or full menu price
  4. Set grace period (minutes of lateness allowed)
  5. Optionally require card registration at booking time

Applying Charges

  • Automatic: after grace period, if a card is on file, charge is processed automatically
  • Manual: mark reservation as no-show and click Apply no-show charge

Best Practices

  • Clearly communicate the no-show policy at booking
  • Send reminders the day before
  • Be flexible with regular customers
  • Track no-show statistics to identify patterns
