No-Show Charge
Charge clients who don't show up for their reservation without cancelling.
Configure Policy
- Go to Settings > Reservations > Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Enable no-show charges
- Set charge amount: fixed per person, percentage of deposit, or full menu price
- Set grace period (minutes of lateness allowed)
- Optionally require card registration at booking time
Applying Charges
- Automatic: after grace period, if a card is on file, charge is processed automatically
- Manual: mark reservation as no-show and click Apply no-show charge
Best Practices
- Clearly communicate the no-show policy at booking
- Send reminders the day before
- Be flexible with regular customers
- Track no-show statistics to identify patterns
