How to Create a Reservation
Creating a reservation in Zeus Manager is quick and simple. You can do it from the Reservation Book or from a client's profile.
Step 1: Open the form
From the Reservation Book, click the + New reservation button in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Guest details
Enter the guest's information:
- Name (required): Guest's name
- Phone: Contact number. If the guest already exists in the database, their details will auto-fill
- Email: Email address for sending confirmation
- Guest notes: Allergies, preferences, celebrations, etc.
Tip: When you start typing a phone number or name, Zeus Manager will suggest existing clients. Select one to auto-fill all details.
Step 3: Reservation details
- Date: Select the reservation day
- Time: Choose the time. Only available times based on schedule settings will be shown
- Guests (Pax): Number of people
- Shift: Auto-selected based on time, but you can change it
- Room: If you have multiple rooms, select which one
Step 4: Assign table (optional)
You can assign a table when creating the reservation or leave it for later:
- Select manually: Choose a table from the list or floor plan
- Auto-assign: Let the system suggest the best table based on party size
- No table: Create without a table and assign later
Step 5: Menu (optional)
If you have menus configured, you can assign one to the reservation:
- Select a menu from the available menus for that date
- Indicate the number of menus per person if needed
- The amount will be calculated automatically
Step 6: Additional options
- Prescriber/Source: Indicate where the reservation came from
- Internal notes: Observations visible only to staff
- Event: If the reservation is associated with a special event
Step 7: Notifications
When creating, you can choose whether to notify the guest:
- Confirmation email: Sent automatically if the guest has an email
- Confirmation SMS: Sent if SMS is configured and the guest has a phone number
Step 8: Save
Click Save to create the reservation. It will immediately appear in the Reservation Book.
