Create a Gift Voucher

Gift vouchers are an excellent tool for building customer loyalty and attracting new diners to your restaurant. They allow your customers to gift gastronomic experiences easily.

Accessing the gift code section

1. Go to the Reservations module in the sidebar
2. Click on the Gift Codes section
3. Press the "Create new code" button

Configuring the gift code

Amount

Set the monetary value of the voucher. This will be the available balance the recipient can use to pay for their reservation or order.

• Enter the desired amount (e.g., €50, €100, €150)
• The recommended minimum amount is €10
• There is no maximum limit, though very high amounts may require additional verification

Validity

Define the period during which the gift code can be used:

• Start date: defaults to today, but can be scheduled for a future date
• Expiration date: select how long the voucher will be valid (30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year)
• Once expired, the code cannot be redeemed

Customization

• Recipient name: who the gift is for
• Custom message: add a special message (max 250 characters)
• Sender name: who is giving the gift

Delivery to customer

Once created, you can send it to the recipient in several ways:

• Automatic email: the system sends an email with the code and details
• Download PDF: generate a downloadable PDF with the voucher design
• Manual code: simply copy the generated code and share it as you prefer

Confirmation

• The unique generated code
• A summary of the configuration
• The delivery status (if you selected automatic sending)

> Note: Gift codes are unique and cannot be duplicated. Each code can only be used once.
