Validate a Gift Voucher
When a client presents a gift code, validate it to check it's legitimate and available.
Steps
- Go to Reservations > Gift Codes > Validate code
- Enter or scan the code
- The system shows: status, available amount, expiration date, and recipient
- If valid, click Redeem to apply the voucher amount to the client's bill
Possible Results
- Valid: can be redeemed
- Expired: past validity date
- Already redeemed: already used
- Refunded: was refunded
- Not found: code doesn't exist
Always validate before serving to avoid payment issues.
