Shift Swaps Between Employees

The shift swap system lets employees exchange shifts through a controlled approval flow.

Swap Flow

1. Request: Employee requests to swap their shift with a coworker
2. Acceptance: Target employee accepts or rejects
3. Approval: Manager approves or rejects

Shifts are only exchanged when all three steps succeed.

From Mobile App

Employees select their shift, choose a coworker, pick the desired shift, and submit.

Manager Actions

• Review pending swap requests from the panel
• Approve or reject with visibility into hours impact
• Create swaps directly without approval flow
